Grace McDougall
Assistant Coach

From the time she first stepped onto the court at nine years old, volleyball has been a huge part of her life. With eight years of experience playing both indoor and beach volleyball, including several years of competitive rep volleyball as a setter, she's excited to begin her coaching journey with Beach Wave Volleyball.
As a first-year coach, she's passionate about creating a positive, supportive, and competitive environment where athletes feel confident to learn, take risks, and enjoy the game. She believes volleyball is about more than just developing skills—it's about building confidence, forming friendships, and learning to never give up, both on and off the court.
As a setter, her favourite skill to teach is setting because it combines communication, decision-making, and teamwork. One of her proudest volleyball memories is earning a silver medal at OVA Provincials during her second year of rep volleyball.
When she's not on the court, you'll find her spending time with family and friends, staying active, relaxing by the pool, or helping out on her family's cattle farm. She can't wait to meet this season's athletes and help them grow their skills, confidence, and love for the game while having plenty of fun along the way.
