Ben Soules
Assistant Coach

Ben Soules is excited to join the Beach Wave coaching staff as an Assistant Coach this summer. Although this is his first official coaching role, Ben brings several years of competitive playing experience and a genuine passion for helping athletes improve.
Ben has been involved in volleyball for the past four years and currently competes with Mountain Athletic Club's 18U team. He previously played with the Ancaster Lions and has also competed in beach volleyball throughout Brantford and Hamilton. One of his favourite volleyball memories is winning an OVA gold medal this season.
As a coach, Ben is patient, encouraging, and knowledgeable. He enjoys helping athletes build confidence and develop their skills while creating a positive environment where teammates support one another. His favourite skill to teach is blocking, and he loves that beach volleyball combines the sport he enjoys with spending time outdoors during the summer.
When he's not at the courts, you'll probably still find Ben playing volleyball. He's also a fan of science, enjoys building with LEGO, and has a pet bearded dragon. Ben chose to coach with Beach Wave after seeing his sister's positive experience with the program and is looking forward to helping athletes have a fun and rewarding summer.
